Rising at 06.25 in Chez Minx, Chiswick, leaving 07.30 to join the Minx here at her residential project.
On the way, the taxi driver was playing some interesting music which he immediately switched off when his passenger climbed in, changing to witless pap of the commercial radio variety. Requested to return to what he had been playing, he was surprised to find I preferred his own choice of drive-music. I guessed this was either Turkish or Iranian: it was Turkish, the second language for the driver, who was from Kosovo.

my own reflections on the appearing of The OCG are continuing.
S looked up at the end of our long final meeting, but it was way too late & not the right time to go into the notion of how to embody Conscious / Creative Intelligence; of the kind & degree required for the world to move to its next level of maturity & deal with bottom-line survival issues of the planet.
if a musician cannot play music, but may become an instrument to be played by music, what of The OCG? the monad of, say, one hundred people can provide a vehicle for the expression of mastery, even genius… the “genius” acts through the network rather than one individual. in the terminology of a former era, the physical body of The Great Crafty is The OCG. the personal wills assent to the action of a Higher Will.
the tetrad of The OCG, which works as the tetrad of our personal orchestra as well, also shows how an informing Creative current such as The Great Crafty, the creative current that moved Guitar Craft into existence, continues to act & inform us all. the emphasis has moved from individual work such as acquiring a personal discipline (the bottom triangle in the tetrad) to the top triangle...

firstly, jet lag provides an opportunity to get outside our conventional perceiving - because we can't maintain our usual state - so we might see things we wouldn't normally.
secondly, while angelic / demiurgic intelligence may need to physically incarnate from time to time, another approach is that for humanity to evolve, it becomes one person within multiple bodies (which is in reality the case already, but not much in any practical way) - and able to act as such.
two orders of Creation: one, created perfect. the other, growing to perfection. the adjustment of the two kinds of perfection (because perfect = perfect = one kind of perfection) takes place on the Planet Purgatory. in this sense, humanity, in growing to perfection, builds not a multiplicity of unitary souls, but the energetic body of an angel / demiurge. something like, the Creation continues, growing its own Angelic Order from scratch.
The OCG III was very much a beginning, and I & II precursors. (all of these were) set up quite a while ago, as suggested by T's Point Of Seeing. we didn't need to know, on the first GC course, what The OCG might become. what we did need to know, was the next step. the next step was presented in a Point Of Seeing, now after 25 years actualised, experienced, and presenting directions for future workings that we are beginning to sense.

RF solo: firstly, no one likes my solo work, so i don't do it anymore.
secondly, this is a way for the promoter to plaster the name King Crimson on lotsa posters.
similarly, S the russian promoter & The KC Festival in russia. it's not The KC Festival. it may be Friends of KC, as it used to be… it might be The Music of KC Festival, but that's not quite the same as getting people to buy tickets & fool them into thinking they're going to get an authentic KC experience. it's a lie.
i'm very happy & supportive of anyone in the team playing the music they helped create & get into the world. i encourage it.
i don't trust how promoters angle it. the russian promoter is simply being dishonest & he knows it.
and i haven't forgotten the polish venues we did. how could i go back to anyone who put us in those?
I note: what is highest in my life seems almost exactly balanced by what is lowest. I have been exceptionally fortunate, in that the High has on occasions leant over & taken me into its confidence; and have been a professional in the music industry now for 42 years & 10 months. Perhaps…
